Phea and Ryan shared their books today. Phea’s book, There’s a Bear on my Chair was really funny. She liked the bit when the mouse wore his underpants and tried to scare the bear. Ryan bought the 91 storey treehouse book. He loves these books, especially the mashed potato and gravy train which runs over potatoes!
Harry and Lilou shared their books today: The Hungry Frog. Harry loved the bit where the fire fly was eaten. Lilou loved her book Babbit by Lydia Monks because it has bunnies!
Ella shared her book called Little Bear’s Big Adventure. She liked the bit where little bear ate the strawberries. 
Helen from Dogs Trust came to Nightingale Class today to teach the children about how to look after dogs. They had a lot of fun!
Molly and Matthew shared their favorite books. They spoke very well about them.
We had our Chinese guests in today sharing some of the celebrations for Chinese New Year. The children had three workshops and learned a lot about the celebrations for Chinese New Year. 
Today Elijah and Josie shared their favorite stories. 
We have been lucky to have some Chinese visitors come to our school today. They showed us how to write Chinese calligraphy. The children had a go and really enjoyed it.

In science today, we were looking at animal categories. We looked at certain animals and tried to categorize them correctly.
